Editor's Letter | Prioritise Self-Love

Me, Myself & I: The Podcast is officially launching! This one is big for me because I don’t consider myself someone who speaks well but… HERE. WE. ARE. And we’re kicking it off in the month of love and dedicating the entire month to conversations around self-love, loving yourself better and viewing love through a healthier lens.

This is a topic that lies very close to my heart because of my own battle with loving myself well after years of emotional, mental and psychological abuse under the hand of a narcissist, where being with him really took a knock on my self-esteem, my self-worth and how much I actually valued myself.

Now, being in a position where I am hopelessly in love with myself and my life, I feel so strongly toward women who find themselves in relationships where they aren’t loved well and, in turn, affects how they love and feel about themselves – and, quite frankly, this cycle needs to stop and, it can only stop if:

• women who came out on the other side of it share their own stories of hope

• women who love themselves give other women the tools to do it too

• women create a safe space of support where we can openly speak about this without feeling judged

So, are you ready to get real about questions like:

•Why do you feel so lonely when you’re alone?

•What toxic societal beliefs have clouded your beliefs about love?

•How can you begin to love yourself better?

•Why do you wish you looked like…?

Yip, we’re getting real with each other.
